The Society of St. Vincent de Paul sincerely appreciates any donation, large or small. Your donations help our neighbors in need throughout St. Clair County and southern IL.
Donations enable the SVDP ministries to provide direct assistance for necessities such as utilities, rent, transportation, and food. In addition donations help fund the operation of the Outreach Center and Overnight Center and the many services and programs offered.
We do NOT receive any government or national SVDP funding to operate our ministries and facilities. All financial support is through private donations, Belleville Diocese, and occasional competitive grants.
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is a tax exempt 501 (c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization.

Estate Planning
Including the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, Belleville, Illinois Council in your estate plans is an excellent way of contributing to the efforts that serve the poor in St. Clair County and southern Illinois. Estate plans include wills, trusts, beneficiary designations on IRAs, 401(k)s, stocks, life insurance, and other financial investments.
Legacy gifts can increase the endowment that generates earnings to support ministry programs, fund capital improvement projects, or be used for special operational needs. Legacy gifts can also decrease estate taxes.
The Belleville Council of St. Vincent de Paul has served the area since 1917. Legacy donors can be assured that their gift will help sustain services provided to the poor in St. Clair County and southern Illinois for many more years to come.
Please contact Joseph Hubbard or Pat Hogrebe at the Society of St. Vincent de Paul to learn more about legacy estate donations.
